Frequently asked questions

Testing, storage, reconstitution, shipping, payment, and policy — the answers researchers ask before they buy.

Are ProGrade products third-party tested?

Yes. Every production lot is independently analyzed by Janoshik Analytical for purity (HPLC) and identity (LC-MS), plus heavy-metals and endotoxin screening. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis is issued for every lot.

What purity standard do you hold?

Peptides are released against a ≥99% HPLC/MS purity standard. The exact reported figure for your lot is on that lot's Certificate of Analysis, available in the COA library or on request.

How do I verify a COA?

Email coa@progradepeptides.com with the lot number printed on your vial and we return the matching certificate. You can also browse the catalog in the COA library and request any compound's batch document.

Are these products for human use?

No. All products are sold strictly for laboratory and research use only. They are not for human or veterinary consumption and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. See our Compliance policy.

How should I store the vials?

Store lyophilized vials refrigerated (2–8°C) and freeze for long-term storage, protected from light. Pre-mixed items should be kept refrigerated. Each product page lists its specific storage guidance.

How do I reconstitute a lyophilized peptide?

Lyophilized peptides are reconstituted with bacteriostatic water prior to research use. Bacteriostatic water is available as an add-on to any order. Follow the reconstitution note on each product page.

Do I need bacteriostatic water?

Most lyophilized peptides require a solvent for reconstitution, and bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) is the standard choice. You can add a 10 mL vial to your order from any product page or the Essential Supply category.

How fast do orders ship?

In-stock orders placed before 2:00 PM ET on a business day dispatch same day; otherwise the next business day. Shipping is fast, tracked, and domestic, with free shipping over $200. See the Shipping page.

What payment methods do you accept?

Checkout is processed securely by Stripe, supporting major cards and supported wallets. We never store full card details on our servers.

What is your return and refund policy?

Unopened items can be returned within 30 days, and damaged or incorrect items are replaced or refunded. Critically, every lot is backed by a purity guarantee: if an independent HPLC test returns below spec, we refund the order and the test cost. See the Returns page.

What does the MODE system mean?

MODE is how we organize the catalog by research area: MODE-M (Metabolic), MODE-R (Recovery), MODE-L (Longevity), and MODE-P (Performance), plus Essential Supply. It lets you browse by the research outcome you're studying.

Do you offer wholesale or lab accounts?

Yes. Research groups and resellers can request volume pricing and a lab account through our Wholesale page. We support recurring procurement with dedicated support.
